Greens, Greens, Greens . . . 15 Huge Bags

County Line Harvest, Inc. generously donated 15 huge bags of chard and lettuce which were quickly delivered to COTS, Petaluma and Redwood Gospel Mission in Santa Rosa.

Our fabulous volunteers picked it up and took it to its destination the same day, we don't store food. Our goal is to get local produce and prepared foods not used by events and restaurants into the hands of the hungry in our county.

This program is being successfully run in San Francisco, and has sister organizations in many other locations in the Bay Area. We are inspired by the work of Foodrunners in San Francisco, and their thirty years of success feeding the hungry utilizing existing nonprofits.
